Bosom Buddies

Yes, it is true that I have bosom on the brain, mostly because if mine get any bigger they will need there own zip code. Yeah pregnancy! (sarcastic tone here). But my bosom aren't the topic. The topic is all those special girlfriends that have come in and out of my life, the few that I'm glad to be "stuck" with for life, and the new ones I have made. This week seems to be "connect with old girlfriends" week. I have reconnected with a dear friend from grad school who inspires me to do more and be more. I've reconnected with a girlfriend from high school who I haven't seen/heard from in more than 10 years, and yet, she still seems apart of my life. It was fun having nostalgic moments. I made plans to get together with one of my "lifer" girlfriends next week, whom I haven't seen since October. And I got a phone call from another "lifer" girlfriend last night, whose timing couldn't have been more perfect. I needed company, and she saved me from solitude. I also leaned on a "new" girlfriend, who listen as I cried while I second guessed my success as a mother, offering an ear and a chocolate chip cookie. Thanks for being great "girlfriends". You make my life richer.
