15 month old update
So Luke had his 15 month check-up today, which he was completely thrilled about. He cried when she measured him (he is 32.5 inches tall now) and screamed when she weighed him (25.2 lbs) and basically threw a tantrum anytime someone touch him. So you can imagine how the shots went. But all in all he is doing great, getting big and hitting all his milestones. She is a bit concerned that he might have a speech delay, so I'm taking him to meet with an early intervention speech therapist to evaluate him.

Hey girl,
One thing I started to do at the 15 month appointment was I bought J a doctor kit (ELMO) and before the Dr appointment I showed her what the doctor would be doing and explained it to her. I also took the DR kit with us and let her play with it while she got her check up. When she got her shots I held her with her back to the nurse and played with the blood pressure cuff. She figured me out once she got the first shot but it helped the big fight be much smaller.
