The Pooper is very curious. Too curious for his own good. He gets into EVERYTHING. Even stuff that I think I have put out of reach, he seems to get a hold of. Today, he grew tall enough to get my make-up bag off the bathroom counter. As I hear it crash to the ground, and rush to pick everything up, there he is also scrambling to make a get away with the "goodies". He manged to snag my mascara and run for the hills. (This particular brand is in an all silver tub, so I'm not surprised that he makes off the the "shiniest" object. Said mascara was also purchased 2 weeks ago.) Away to the kitchen he goes, and into a little "nook" between my cabinets and dishwasher, a space just big enough for him to stand in. There he is with his back to me, and I'm saying, "Luke give Mommy back the mascara." ( I thought I would say this to a 13 year old daughter, not my 15-month old son). I hear it drop. Pooper starts fussing. He comes out of the nook pointing and whining without the mascara. I look into the "nook" to see where he dropped it. I see nothing. Then I take a closer look. No way! Apparently, the "wall" at the back of the nook does not go to the top. There is a space about 1-inch high where the wall ends and the counter begins, a wall that was put up to create a barrier for the hoses to the dishwasher. So that is where my new $8 mascara is now living for the rest of it's life. Or until I rip out the kitchen cabinets.
Below are some photos to help illustrate the "nook".

No way! That is crazy. Finn plays with my makeup every day when I get ready. He stacks all my eyeshadows (they are the mineral powder shadows, so he can see the colors in the little jars). I spent like $100 on those shadows (the full collection), and about 5 of them have gone missing.... grrrrrr
