Where to begin. Well the cloth diapering did not go so well today. He peed through the first one, soaking the cover and his clothes. Round 2 went better, I folded the diaper differently. He peed and pooped in this one. no leaks, but I got a bit of poop on the tabs of the cover while changing. I put him on a disposable for his nap, not feeling confident in my cloth diapering abilities. Plus I needed to wash the tabs off. He got up from his nap, I changed him into another disposable, since the cover wasn't quite dry yet. (note: I have 6 prefold diapers and 2 covers). we went for ice cream, came home, pooper and another poop, and I changed him into another cloth diaper (3rd of the day). We played, had dinner, he peed through it just time time to take it off to get into the tub and I noticed that he was starting to get diaper rash. Now EVERYTHING I've read has said that kids get less if any diaper rash with cloth over disposable. We shall see about that. While in the tub, the Pooper pulled a "Caddyshack" and left a Baby Ruth in the tub. (you see now why I call him the "Pooper"). So now I have to remove baby and toys from tub, remove poop from tub, disinfect all toys AND tub, refill with tub with water and re-wash baby.
Oh Joy. Like I don't have enough to do. Plus, I had just washed the tub this afternoon. So there wasn't even the notion, "Well the tub needed a good scrubbing anyway!"
