2cm Down, 8cm to go

No, I'm not in labor, yet, but I am 2cm dilated already and the baby is "nice and low" to quote Dr. K. But I was also 2cm dilated with Luke for the whole last month and he only came 2 days early. However, doc offered to induce me next Thursday if possible (July 10th). She is all about getting things done, which I am totally on board for. She said to think about it and get back to her. I see her again on Tuesday. The more I think about it the better it sounds. Then I could plan everything, have my mom here to stay with Luke, go in have a baby by 5pm stay in the hospital until Saturday and come home. I wouldn't have to call mike in a panic at work to tell him I was in labor or be awoken in the middle of the night. Hmmm … this is sounding better and better.
