The Three "P's"

Last night was a night full of the three "p's"—pee, poop and puke. Mike had to fly down to to NC to see a client for the day, and wasn't sure when he would be back, it all depended on how long it took him to fix their problem. He was able to fix it and got back on a flight last night. Meanwhile, Mom/Nana, had to go to a board meeting last night, so I would be home with the kids by myself. NO problem. I can do this. It is really only an hour before Luke goes to bed and I have been taking care of Gavin by myself for the most part anyway.

The night ended OK. Mom/nana, left at 6:30, Luke, Gavin and I played for 45 minutes and then I put Gavin in the bouncy seat and took Luke down to bed. We got halfway through Green Eggs and Ham when Gavin started crying. Sorry Luke, time for bed, you can read Green Eggs and ham in your crib. And so he did without a fuss. "I can do this. Just remember what mom/nana said, safety first, happiness second."

Here is the night's events:
7:30pm -luke in bed, feed gavin
8:15pm Gavin falls asleep, load dishwasher, brush teeth, wash face.
9pm-Feed Gavin (again) and go to bed
10:30-Gavin wakes up, peed through clothes, wants to eat, again. Feed, change, get back to bedroom, Gavin poops again. back to bathroom to change diaper. back to bedroom, wants to eat. Here mike get home at 11pm. back in bed by 11:15.
1:30-gavin wakes up, peed through outfit again. wants to eat again. Feed baby, change baby, change sheets, feed baby, back in bed at 2am. Gavin pukes. change again.
3:30-Baby wakes up, peed though clothes, sheets still dry. Change baby. Doesn't need to eat, takes binky and goes back to sleep.
4:15-LUKE wakes up crying. Go to cuddle Luke. Back in bed by 4:30
5:00 -baby wakes up wants to eat. change poopy diaper. back to bed. Gavin won't settle down. Bring gavin to bed with me at 6:30. sleep til 8.
8am-feed gavin. go out to kitchen where mom/nana, Luke and Hubby are hanging out. Find out hubby puked last night when he got home at 11pm. Apologizes for not getting up with Luke at 4:15.

i will be taking a nap today. got to run, gavin just dropped a major stinky poop.
