Update on Mr. Gavin Sleep

Well, we have been doing the "Ferber" method, which is a bit painful to listen to the crying for an hour or two, but so is not sleeping more than 3 hours in a row for 6 months. I go and comfort Gavin while he is crying every 5 minutes, and this does calm him down. But as soon as I leve the room, he is off and crying again. However, Gavin has slept through the night for the last 2 nights. Last night he slept from 8:30pm to 5am. I fed him a bottle at 5, and he went back to sleep until 7am. The previous night, it took him about 2 hours to settle down, about 9:30pm. I fed him at 11pm before I went to bed and he slept until 7am. So it appears to be working. Hopefully I will be getting more sleep from now on.
