Great Idea

Yesterday, it was finally warm enough to set up the kiddie pool for the kids. They had a great time playing. Luke decided that he was going to use his snow shovel to carry water to his wagon. So I watched him scoop up water, walk half-way across the yard to dump the water into his little plastic wagon. He did this several times before I said to him, "You know Luke, you could pull your wagon closer to the pool so you don't have to walk as far. " He looks at me and says, "Great idea, Mommy, Great idea!" He then puts the shovel down, runs to get his wagon and pulls it next to the pool. Right now, I'm a genius in his eyes.
