Yes, I am aware that it is Tuesday, but something dawned on me Sunday while I was driving Gavin to the Doctor's office—Sunday Rituals. I passed an elementary school on the way and the parking lot was packed. As I drove by, I realized that Football was the main event. It was 9:30 in the morning and all I could think was—doesn't anyone go to Church anymore? Growing up, our Sunday ritual was the same—Church, then to Grandma's house to play with cousins and eat a big Italian feast. Even after Grandma passed away, we still made the trip to the south shore of Long Island to spend the day with our cousins. Once we got older, and we started participating in sports, games were ALWAYS on Saturday. Sunday was considered a family day.
I'm not sure what my plans will be when the kids get older and their activities are scheduled when they are scheduled, but Church and Sunday school will be on the list and non-negotiable.

I am with you! We won't ever be doing sports on Sunday.
