And I was on such a roll, getting 7-8 hours a night! Tonight, on the other hand is not going well. I've been tossing and turning (as much as a pregnant woman can "toss & turn") all night and had to get up twice to pee. This time I was thirsty/hungry and also had to pee, so I am up drinking a glass of milk (so i can pee again) and posting a blog. Hopefully I will be able to get back to sleep.
The nesting syndrome is in full swing. I had a "bloody show" yesterday, which really put a fire under my butt. I might not make it to Thursday after all. But we shall see. I finally packed a hospital bag, installed the infant car seat in my car, sterilized all the bottles and breast pump parts (just in case nursing doesn't go as planned–again), cleaned and assembled the bouncy chair, bought another sound machine and monitor, filled out the birth certificate paperwork and my registration form for the hospital, charged the batteries for the camera, and starting planning the birth announcements. All done yesterday before Luke woke up from his nap. And then we went to a BBQ at the neighbors house. I wasn't kidding about that nesting syndrome. I still have some things to do, but I'm feeling much better about the situation. The goal is to get a hair cut today, seeing as I haven't had one since October 2007, and I don't really want to waituntil Oct. 2008 to get another one.
