I really don't know where the time goes. Some mornings I wake up and think, "only 13 hours, 23 minutes and 45 seconds until the kids go to bed." After Luke was born, a good friend said to me, "the days are long, but the years fly by. " Boy was she right! Anyway, Gavin is a chunky monkey. he is 18 lbs. and 26.25 inches long. This puts him at 95% for both weight and height. Doc gave me the green light to start him on some cereal. He is in perfect health, and she didn't hear his heart murmur. So perhaps it has already closed.
we are taking off this weekend to go to PA to a wedding. Should be interesting traveling with both kids. I am a bit nervous about how Luke is going to handle being in a new place. Fun for all.

Are you flying for your trip? Either way, my trick to a well-traveled and behaved baby/toddler is new toys or sticker books that he hasn't seen before. Even if they are the super cheap variety from WalMart. Lifesaver! And if you are driving, I just try to rotate toys/activities every 20 minutes (unless you have a portable DVD player...we found a car adapter for our—hallelujah). Have fun!
