Back from PA

So the weekend was VERY interesting. Luke did great, both in the car and in the hotel, at the wedding etc. Gavin on the other hand, not so well. HE cried for a half hour straight in the car on the way down at the beginning of the trip and the WHOLE last hour. And he cried for the whole last hour and a half on the way back. Not because he needed anything, he just didn't want to be in his car seat. I had to leave the wedding ceremony before it even started becasue I could't get Gavin to stop crying and I didn't want to be "that" person. I could feel all the eyes looking at me. Luke was awesome. I was able to keep him entertained with toys, books, snacks and songs. He even took a nap in the car and slept pretty well at the hotel. Everyone at the wedding was saying how cute our genetic output is, which they are. But I also think we scared all of our friends that don't have kids into never having them when they saw how much work 2 kids under 2 is. Thanks God my mom came to lend an extra pair of hands. We all had to eat in shifts at the wedding, and we left before cake, but it was good to see friends that we don't get to see that often. We are scheduled to go to Killington VT. for thanksgiving. Mikie and I are both dreading the car ride, but what can you do. Suck it up!
