More about the trip to PA

Fastlane/E-Z Pass is one of the greatest inventions in toll booth history. If you don't drive in NY, MA, NJ, PA, you may not be aware of this neat gadget. You have a little white box (transponder) mounted on your windshield that allows you to pay for tolls without stopping. No getting tickets, handling money etc. It just bills your credit card or debits your checking account. As we were driving through NJ on Friday and passing through a Fast Lane toll, there was a sign that said, "DO NOT BACK UP. I look at Mike and say, "So sad that they have to put up a sign that says not to back up because people aren't smart enough to know that backing up into on coming traffic is probably not safe." Fast forward to Sunday when we are leaving PA, approaching the Fast Lane, there is a moron BACKING UP. The E-Z Pass lanes are clearly marked with large purple signs above them. But that just doesn't seem to be enough. As we go through the toll, I notice that there is no "DON'T BACK UP" sign. I say to Mike, "Well, there was no sign posted, so he didn't know that he wasn't supposed to back up when he realized he was in the wrong lane. " We had a good chuckle.
Morons, they are everywhere!
