GAvin is trying to kill me

So last night didn't go too well. Gavin was so exhausted that he fell asleep in Mike's arms while drinking a bottle at 6:45pm. At 9:15, he woke up and I fed him a 6oz bottle, since he didn't finish the last bottle he ate. He sucked that down and went right back to sleep. Then at 11:30pm, he decided he needed to be awake and cry for the next 4 hours! I tried everything, changed his diaper, patted his bum, I even broke the "don't pick your baby up rule", all which quieted him down. I would put him back into his crib awake, and he would remain quiet for about 15 minutes. Then he was all, "Hey mom, get your ass back in here and rock me to sleep!" My friend Lyndsay suggested the Sleep Easy Solution book, which I ordered 2 days ago and it better be here soon!

It is a slow death isn't it... You are way ahead of me, I didn't attempt to fix the problem until 9 months, and we did manage to fix it (at least when he sleeps at home).

There is an emergency chapter in that book. I think it is chapter 3. I skipped straight to it. It suggests buying a white noise machine (which works wonders for Finn), and making sure you can black-out your windows. I just bought black-out curtains at Target. But both purchases have been invaluable for getting Finn on a sleep schedule. So go straight to that emergency chapter. ;) And I REALLY hope it works for you. Really really.

Crap! I already have a sound machine in his room and have hung blankets over the windows because the blackout curtains I bought were a joke.
