Another Successful Night

Last night Luke slept in his big boy bed again with no problems … well almost. Mike put him to bed at 7:50. By 8:20 he was still goofing off in his bed. But at least he stayed in bed and didn't coming running down the hall like the previous night. So Mike goes down to check on him. Luke was standing up and looking out the window. One of the problems with the location of the big boy bed is that it is under a window. Mike gets Luke back in bed and then comes back to the living room to let know what Luke had been up to. Another 15 minutes goes by, and I suspect that Luke has resumed his window viewing activity. I get up to check on him when we hear a … boom … silence … cry. I get down there to find Luke kneeing on the floor facing the wall. I suspect he was standing up looking out the window, stepped to far to the left and fell off the foot of the bed. Well perhaps that will be enough to teach him not the stand on the bed and look out the window. I got him back in bed, reminded him the rules about staying in bed and to call mommy or daddy if he wakes up and left. He slept all night.

Gavin did OK too. He slept all night for the most part, just a bit fussy. So I woke up every time he fussed. Gavin got up at 4:30 this morning. I tried to get him to get back to sleep with a bottle and a little rocking. I finally did, but not until 5:30. By that time is was too late for me. My ON switch kicked on and there was no getting back to sleep. Early to be for me tonight.
