Growin' and it's Showin'

Today was Gavin's one year check-up. He is 27 lbs and 32 3/4 inches long! That puts him at the 95% on the weight chart, and OFF the charts for height. Doc said he looks fantastic, and could not be more pleased with the way he is growing. We had to get 3 shots today and had blood drawn. They will do a lead test, CBC and RAST test for food allergies. I suspect he may have them as well. So we will also meet with the allergist. Doc could also still hear his heart murmur, but like the cardiologist, isn't worried about it, since it is very soft. Clearly, it is not affecting his growth.

Gavin is also walking—about 5-6 steps at a time. He is also attempting to climb onto the couch already.
