Tackle Tuesday

Gavin is a brute. My little bull in a china shop. Luke is much more gentle, but also a bit of a tease. You the know, the "I'm not touching you" kind of a tease. Anything to get a rise out of someone—anyone. That is his job and he is good at it.

Well, it seems rolls have reversed a bit. Luke was playing quietly with his cars and trucks. Gavin comse barreling over, swipes a truck and takes off running—as well as a 13 month old can run. Luke throws a fit and begins to shout, "no gavin, no gavin!" Luke takes off after Gavin, tackles him to the ground and removes said truck from hand. Gavin is giggling like a little school girl through this whole process, which leads me to believe that he was in fact trying to get a rise out of Luke. Perhaps I should have intervened, but I couldn't stop laughing either. Best they figure this stuff out sooner than later. I don't want to play policeman forever. They will have to learn how to work out their differences. As long as they don't start throwing punches.

Cameron does this too... and when he gets away without Daniela seeing he hides her things behind the books on the book shelf. Recently he has added yelling "I got it first" to the routine - boy that makes her mad, especially when she had it first!
